Office

Office buildings, like multifamily properties, are categorized into low, mid, and high rise based on their size. Office buildings are typically grouped into one of three categories: Class A, Class B, or Class C.

These classifications are relative and depend largely on context, such as the building’s location and the health of its surrounding market. Class A buildings are considered top-tier, boasting superior construction and prime locations. Class B properties may feature high-quality construction but are situated in less desirable locations. Class C buildings are often characterized by their dilapidated condition and unfavorable locations.
Central Business District (CBD)
Office buildings situated in a Central Business District (CBD) are positioned at the core of a city. In major metropolises like Chicago or New York, and in some mid-sized cities like Orlando or Jacksonville, these buildings encompass high-rise structures located in downtown areas.
